Yeah I think opinion has changed after people looked at the stock market response. Most people aren't exposed to credit market conditions on a day to day basis. But they do see stock index numbers.

Well, I'm in Tianjin. Much like I expected filling in little details here and there in my picture of China. We drove from Beijing airport so got to see a bit of the rural area on the way too and so far mainly going to stores, wandering around the city here and there. Had my eyes tested and ordered a new pair of glasses.

One economic thing that amused me, was in a market where they sell surplus export clothing there was some piece of clothing with a big card label attached "70% off, was GBP 36 now GBP 11.99". Funny, they put that label on at the factory in China. Maybe Elmat would call that "wayo".
