Not to mention that he, his former firm, and his ilk, were the ones who created
and profited from dumping all this toxic Wall Street paper on Main Street in the first place!

Of course this is BS. GS was one of the few firms that did not get involved with toxic paper. And guess who steered GS clear of that crap? Think of someone with the initials HP.

Any coincidence that Paulson tried to "bum rush" us into a bailout, right after Goldman Sachs started to collapse?

Pure coincidence........Paulson and Bernanke were slow to get it but once they did roughly a month ago, they began to make their move that led to the rescue plan Paulson proposed to Congress.

And just for the record......Paulson has more wealth then he will ever spend, is retired from business, and is a good guy.
And yet, you want to rely on some arsehole on SI for your position. Says a lot about you and mostly further undermines your credibility.......which already was suffering from your having voted for Bush.......TWICE.
