how do you like those ISM numbers this morning, worse drop since 1984 because businesses can't buy inventory.

Ugh! And the Republicans keep telling us this is a WS bailout.

I think the reading is much lower at this point too because the credit crunch didn't happen until the second half of the month. We are probably at 39 or something.

Frankly, I don't like to think about it. I feel like I am on a roller coaster at Magic Mt that just keeps going and going.

That's recessionary. It shows a contraction. Ouch. When the ripple effects hit main street, it's going to feel like a ton of bricks. We're going to see 7-8% unemployment before this is over. Maybe sometime in 2009, which the Republicans will blame the Democrats for, of course.
