LB,

I read post after post from people all over the country at TYP trying to find a Cardiologist who agrees with TYP. With almost no success. That's why it's nice to know you can order a "Cutting Edge" Lipo test and get a Heart scan without an agreeing Cardiologist. And once you know your problem, use TYP methods to deal with it.

Check out this blog post of Dr. Eades. It shows that majority of Cardiologists are clueless about Lipo test. Not just that, so is their journal (Journal of the American College of Cardiology).

The post addresses a study that Journal of American College of Cardiology didn't interpret correctly. It also addresses the issue of small LDL particles under low carb and low fat diets.

As you may guess, low fat diet makes things worse - LDL gets lower, but the particles get smaller.
