You KNEW that was coming! This'll be over 2 trillion in no time, with NOTHING to show for it except indebtedness.

Michael, I think any bailout should be limited and should spell out clear goals and clear limits.

Otherwise when Ford and GM come knocking on the door, what's going to prevent Paulson from saying, "Come on in, we have tons of money to hand out"?

As for regulation, I have never been against setting reasonable limits, i.e. guard rails to prevent markets from going over the edge of a cliff.
