No kidding even though I know you are being sarcastic<g>. I have heard a couple of people, including an American journalist, who live in Beijing, said their body cannot adjust to the relatively clean US air in US rural area when they just came back to the US.

The matter of the truth, human being can adept to the change of the nature quite well. I know quite a number of elders living in Beijing in their 90s, alive and kicking, with NO major illness!

And if we talk about the Western invented petroleum-based product/chemical pollution, the US is actually worse than China in terms of varieties and widespreadness! believe it or not! Go test ALL the pregnant women and new born children in the US, every single of them got >200 dif. chemicals in their blood! One CANNOT say the same thing to Chinese. Yes, a couple of decades from now, China may become the same, but NOT yet.

As for made-in-China milk/milk powder contains melamine, keep in mind, this technology is invented by the West! And many Western made milk and milk powders also contain melamine, although the dose in China found is significantly higher. I do NOT rule out some deliberate sabotage.
