These are the questions in the 2004 VP debate that Gwen Ifill moderated. I've bolded some of the questions that would update easily to today. I expect fannie/freddie, employment, and energy to also be covered. Georgia and Pakistan may be as well. As long as the questions are straight forward I don't see a problem as long as Ifill doesn't try to turn it into a trivia game show.

Gwen Ifill is a good journalist. And everybody knows she's a liberal. But the reason conflicts of interest are conflicts is that may cloud the person's judgement, and they certainly make all the spectators doubtful. We wouldn't allow her to take a payment of $300,000 from the Obama campaign and then be the moderator; how different is it to write a book which will earn $300,000 if Obama wins and nothing if he loses?
