How do they figure out how inflammatory a meal is?

They don't have much to say. This is it:

"The IF (Inflammation Factor) Rating™ estimates the inflammatory or anti-inflammatory potential of individual foods or combinations of foods by calculating the net effect of different nutritional factors, such as fatty acids, antioxidants, and glycemic impact. "

One argument against is that there is that infrequent meals cause drop in blood sugar...

I'm eating two meals a day now, a small breakfast and a several hour graze late in the afternoon. I posted recently that my fasting is ending in high blood sugar, which drops as soon as I eat. Dunno.

I've seen so much conflicting info on frequency of meals. Either nobody knows or there are just a lot of trade-offs. Right now I'm eating primarily to minimize food consumption for weight loss. Everything else will have to wait. Maybe they will have figured it out by then.
