Ifill will be fair I believe. But there is no doubt that she is less professional for having entered into this agreement under these circumstances. She has certainly damaged her reputation amongst those of reasonable intellect.

The McCain campaign would have known about the book if they had watched PBS. We can't protect them from their own ignorance.
