FWIW, premium to NAV on CEF dropped from 22% to around 7% about a week ago on the announcement of a share offering expanding the fund. Ogi pointed this opportunity out in real time.

Thanks for that reply Jimsioi, very helpful views on CEF/GLD. I am guilty of not following the CEF premium as I should have and recently took that nosedive as a result of my inattention. I had not bought it as a trading vehicle and although I had the trust send me historic NAV data, I was still not prepped for such a fast outsized move on the NAV as we recently saw.
