JBT - looks good on the surface but it seems they were loaded up with 150M$ in debt, effective July 31. The balance sheet from June 30 does not represent that. Too high of a debt load for my taste, I'll pass.

Oblomov: JBT. It's too tough a market for me to consider this spinnoff unless there's a compelling buy reason. I don't see great returns on equity, profit margins, long history of performance. I don't see a margin-of-safety. (Although in this financial crisis environment, margin-of-safety doesn't seem to matter much.) Too many other, better stocks out there now imo at good/better prices.
