Is anyone surprised that Chinese milk is made of melamine? When the national ideology is fakery to get something from others, rather than to operate in a synergistic co-operative way based on karma, that's what you get? They don't have the Christian ethos of "do unto others...", it's "do what you can get away with". They don't have a monopoly on that ethos which has become endemic around the world.

Early this year I noticed that Sanitarium peanut butter, which I buy because Sanitarium is a reputable brand run on good ideology, was Made in China. I phoned them to ask about their quality control processes. They blathered on about their strict management of the processes, but I doubted that they would be able to avoid malevolent fraud such as the melamine crime. It turned out that a lot more people were concerned when a couple of months later the safety of Made in China food became a global concern. That was before the melamine in milk was found.

Sanitarium switched to Made in Australia and I'm sure their sales increased. They certainly did with me. I bet they are now glad they made the change when they did because they'd be selling NONE now.

China won't be other than a cheap labour place for foreign companies until they change their mindset which they might not be able to do. Let us watch TJ and brief to see when his mindset changes. Since [TJ and Yiwu the Mad say] they all think the same, we only need to watch one to know what they all think. Recommendation - don't believe that one because it's another attempted deception Made in China.

Meanwhile, hilariously, Taiwan has banned not just short selling but saying critical things about companies which might cause the share price to go down. They should just pass a law that nobody is allowed to sell a share cheaper than it was yesterday.

>>What fascinates me is they are trying to prevent lawsuits from those poisoned. I wonder how TJ feels about this aspect of Chinese justice.<<

TJ just shrugs it off. Right now he's peeing in his pants with excitement about the global financial collapse, impending dark interregnum, and coming Teotwawki dawn of pan-Sinica bliss. Of course it's the Black Swan he doesn't see coming that will get him! ;>)
