Kenneth, when the move went towards McCain, you started posting your lies and making up posts like Palin's husband is an OIL and GAS TYCOON. That is what you dependents do...

You wish investors losses, your attacks are as bad as they can be...

When the polls turn in favor of Obama, the level of discourse on this threads drops and the posts increasingly turn to shrill ad hominem attacks on Obama and his supporters.

“I am obviously not happy about my 401(k) being down 20 percent,” said Mr. Stauckas, 37. “I’m a Democrat and I’ve been for Obama but I do have to say with what is occurring with the economy, I’m a little worried now about his inexperience. I’m on the fence.”

House Financial Services Committee hearing, Sept. 10, 2003:

Rep. Barney Frank (D., Mass.): I worry, frankly, that there's a tension here. The more people, in my judgment, exaggerate a threat of safety and soundness, the more people conjure up the possibility of serious financial losses to the Treasury, which I do not see. I think we see entities that are fundamentally sound financially and withstand some of the disaster scenarios. . . .

Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.), speaking to Housing and Urban Development Secretary Mel Martinez:

Secretary Martinez, if it ain't broke, why do you want to fix it? Have the GSEs [government-sponsored enterprises] ever missed their housing goals?
