Yes, opposing gay marriage is no different than segregation. Ask anyone on this thread!! Ask any gay person!! It does not matter what you think, it matters what gay people think ad want!

And there is a reason why blacks consistantly vote over 90% for dems. They know who their friends are. And their enemies. A persecuted person usually knows their enemies!! It was the liberal dems who forced the 1964 civil rights act on the south and thank god. The south shoud have desegregated a hundred years earlier. Why didn't they??????????????????????

Segregation is barbaric. Sexism is barbaric and gay bashing, including forbidding gay marriage is barbaric!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But you do not seem to understand that!

As far as Clarence Thomas goes, understand this. Most African Americans cannot stand Clarence Thomas because consistantly votes agaisn tthem, he is an idiot and many feel he reflects badly on them.

The African American community gets one seat on the supreme court. That is how it works.

The dems gave the black supreme court seat to the African American, Thurgood Marshall, one of the greatest Americans ever and the black community was so proud of him.

The Republicans used Clarence Thomas for their own ugly reasons. He votes in lock step with Scalia and the rest of the cosnervative court agaisnt the black community and has never done a thing for the black community. He did say something about a lynching law recently. Big deal.

That was a dirty trick the Republcian's pulled on the black community.

Do you understand how dirty it was of the Republicans to do that??

If you sense irritation in my post you are right. I am furious with racists, sexists and homophobia. And I am especially furious with anyone who tries to downplay how bad they are.

The south shall forever have a blemish on their culture for not desegregating until it was forced on them in 1964.

And 20 years from now people will look at the Republcian's attempts to get a constitutioanla ammendment to ban gay marriage, the same way we look back now with contempt at the Republican's indulging Hoover and the Great depression, Joe Macarthy and the House of Unamerican Activites and the senate conservatives filabustering for 14 days in the to stop integration.

Those were all primitive barbaric issues and all soldiered by conservatives! And inexcusable.
