"Sub-prime" is but a smaller part of the total global financial crisis.

Far larger parts, all contributing to the collapsing financial bubble, are the unregulated TRILLIONS in such financial derivatives as Credit Default Swaps, the collapse of confidence in all financial counter-parties, the after-effects of 'Greenspan's liquidity bubble', the after-effects of seven years of rising budget and trade deficits and the 72% increase in America's national debt, etc, etc.
