Koan:

That is interesting. Let me see how this works. We elect a president and congress. However, we then have to defer to African Americans when we choose an African American member of the court.

And of course, I suppose we have to defer to Women if we pick a Women. Now exactly what do we do if we decide to appoint a black woman who gets to make the decision.

Finally, I think the notion that members of the coourt are black judges, or women judges, white anglo saxon judges and are somehow each group gets to choose who they want is offensive and racist in itself. As a good friend of mine use to say, I notice they have never appointed a gay vietnamese to the court, clear evidence of discrimination.

I must say you have some of the most bizzarre ideas I have ever heard. Interesting, but bizarre.

I've always thought of Palin as the Clarence Thomas of female candidates.

Actually Thomas is worse though, because he THINKS more highly of himself than is deserved imho. NOt sure if Palin has that same problem. I think this VP excursion must be pretty humbling for her.
