No, I did not catch those hearings, and both sides criticize the other for failing to enact legislation through the years.
And, they are both right.

My point is that there is a tendency for people not to be immaculate with their words to say it politely when discussing the opposing side which clouds the value of discussion. If we improve upon that, these threads actually have more value than to simply see which side can post the most.

If we want to talk corruption in government, we certainly can print a long list of politicians from both parties. I believe that if we want to have a better government, we must stop only looking at the opposing party, and start to look at one's own too.

I must admit that I am not normally a fan of Bill O'Reilly...but he is probably the only one in the media that has called Barney Frank on the carpet about this mortgage mess. It's about time.
