Yes, the economy is weak so inflation would be modest initially. But whenever government expands its liabilities in a major way, the result is extreme periods of inflation over the coming years.

The best time to be in the Miners is when the economy is very weak and super stimulus, in the form of rate cuts and massive government printing of money are on tap.

"Cash is King" in Deflation. Gold is King when the Central Bankers start printing.
