Mr Michael Pezim and Mr Naren Majithia report
Haddington Resources and Silverstone Resources have acquired 16 claim units in
McEvay Township in Timmins, Ontario. These units are contiguous to the eastern
boundary of the Haddington/Silverstone joint venture Kaltwasser property
currently being explored in Sheraton Township, 7km southeast of Cross Lake
Minerals' new polymetallic discovery. A staking rush is under way in this area.
The newly acquired units contain the on-strike extension of the large IP anomaly
coursing across the Haddington/Silverstone joint venture Kaltwasser property.
Initial exploration on these new claims will begin immediately.
The Haddington/Silverstone joint venture can acquire a 100% interest in these
claims by making cash payments totalling $26,000 over three years, issuing
12,500 shares of each company over 18 months and by granting the vendors a
2% nsr of which the companies can purchase 1% for $1,000,000.
Further to Haddington's news release of October 10 1997, 400,000 shares were
issued on October 16 1997, rather than October 10 1997 as announced. The
shares have resale restrictions until October 17 1998.
