Augustus.. You DO realize that those "tax extenders" were part of another already negotiated bill, including solar tax credits, that they decided to merge with the "bailout" package. Essentially they killed 2 birds with one stone since this was the last vote before the recess. But I realize the media has been presenting it like all of this pork was specifically added for the purpose of winning votes to pass it. But all of those tax credits have been in negotiation since last spring (at least the solar tax credits have been). Hawk
