Skeets, Proshares have the best Ultra Bear funds, twice the index in volatility. I have liked MZZ, the mid cap index, but hold a small position now. My more conservative friends are buying the S&P 500 Inverse, but I think that's boring. Also, S&P companies are much more likely to get credit than small cap and mid cap. The SDP, double utilities down, is interesting. These guys live on short credit. But, once again, I don't think the timing is right for a new position right now and am holding on to a very small position in case I'm wrong.
