I'm not speculating. I'm basing that on an article from a reputable source that was posted here about a month ago. Maybe a bit longer.

It's possible that something has come up from them, but a swiftly-denied internet rumor from a random blogger wouldn't convince me that is so.

When the market is in a selling mood, any reason will do. God could appear and grant Jobs immortality and people will still find a reason to shoot the stock down. Lots of other stocks have been massacred in this bear market and now it's Apple's turn. Unless you're dangerously leveraged, this drop is no biggie in the larger scheme of things. Some of us have seen this puppy fall 50% in one day and that was back when Jobs was hale and hearty (heck, most of us didn't even know there was such a thing as pancreatic cancer) <LOL!>
