Any time you have that many people involved, 10's of millions, and a VERY emotionally charged issue, you are going to have splinter groups that believe in violence. There were surprisingly few and without a lot of members... after all the whole movement was about ENDING violence.

Nobody gives a shit that such groups existed. The problem is that some of these idiots are still committed to violence, are unapologetic for it, and now, a major party candidate is effectively endorsing that violence by associating himself with it.

As recently as 18 months ago Obama was still associating with this slime. It is awfully convenient that the last time Obama "saw" Ayres was about the same day he began his presidential campaign in earnest.

How many cops did you kill? What kind of shrapnel did you put in your bombs?

The Weather Underground tried hard to kill people. As many as possible. The idea they were noble souls is a LIBERAL LIE.
