are unapologetic for it Which doesn't surprise me a bit. The Vietnam war was a horrible part of our history. What we did there was orders of magnitude worse than anything the radicals did here. But as people grow up they need to take responsibility for their actions. Instead of taking responsibility, Ayres said, "We didn't do enough". We should have set more bombs. We should have caused more damage and killed more people. It is a fundamental precept in America that criminal behavior cannot be forgiven unless the criminal is repentant. We see this in our courts and in our society. No, he's not. You are lying. Both Obama and Ayers were major players on the southside of Chicago, it was inevitable that their paths would cross. Please. Don't be such a nitwit. Obama surely isn't NOW coming out and endorsing Ayres -- he is in the midst of a campaign. But the fact that he was still engaging with this terrorist 18 months ago is tantamount to an endorsement. The simple truth is it is one more flip flop (at best). 18 Months ago, terrorists were okay, but now that I'm in a campaign, I'll keep my distance.
