just in in-tray Comment from hedge fund performances for Sept and YTD: Couple thoughts for what they are worth. Hedge funds, esp the big ones, got destroyed last month and are down more in October. I have seen the numbers for most of the large hedge funds. -15% for the year now is abt average and many are -20% or higher. The worst big guys are down 30% or more now. I think that means the redemptions are going to be worse than people think. Our clients are really generally liquidity constrained and need cash. Separately, I think that the Democrats have sealed the election. I think the bubble was in credit, not so much in the equities.
