How many Keating Democrats(there were 4) appeared in court on behalf of stockholders like John McCain? Answer: None. McCain was the only member of congress whose testimony in court helped the stockholders win their case. Check the facts of the Keating episode, you'll quickly observe the FOUR Democrats involved were not even willing to help stockholders--McCain did exactly that and they won.
