Perhaps, but state funding to keep people healthy is separate from the euthanasia question. Oregon doesn't give lethal injections to those who have not petitioned for them, which is the salient distinction between Oregon and Baroness Warnock. Assisted suicide as distinct from murder.

As for the funding, no government program will ever provide everything it would take to keep us all alive and kicking forever. There's no way we could afford it. Public health approaches to medical care aren't all that compatible with the interests from the individual.

And not paying for someone to go to college is not the same thing as blackballing him from college. Not even close. Same with not paying for someone's medical care.
