Elroy,

That is probably the very best prediction. It will be an attempt at balance. In the end, there will be more inflation as that overshoot is so much easy to achieve, and has advantages for those in power.

This oscillation makes it easier to control gold, as they can scare the lemming from one side of the boat to the other almost at will.
