<<Believe the left-wing Hollywood caricature of Bush, that he's an abject idiot being controlled and manipulated by "sinister characters,">>

I'm curious Ten, how do YOU account for the massive failures of his administration?

Inode, > We were all idiots then, YOU are all idiots today.

LOL, you're going overboard here.

The way I see it, not everyone who supports Obama is an idiot. Just those who:

My dentist, a pretty smart guy, & I were discussing the election a couple weeks ago. He said, "I don't get it. There are a lot of really smart people who are supporting this guy, and I just can't figure out what it is I'm missing."

One can only conclude that there is a missing particle of brain matter that prevents these otherwise smart people from recognizing the danger this guy will bring to our country. Now, the people here -- that's a different thing -- this is raw partisanship here -- CJ (who can't cite ONE REASON why he should vote for Obama other than ideology), Michael (who is unconvinced that Obama is an extremist), JF, & tejek -- it is all about partisanship. Z, who doesn't even know the basics about Obama's past (what little information is available) -- thinks the guy hung the moon.

There is either a missing neuron somewhere, or people are following ideological bias over the cliff. I can understand kids, who have no experience with politics, thinking "Oh, Obama said he would cut my taxes so I'll vote for him" -- not realizing, of course, that Obama isn't going to cut their taxes. They just don't realize that lying happens in political campaigns, particularly amongst Democrats.

Are they idiots? I don't know what the correct word is. Idiots, partisans, naive, whatever, it is all the same to me. Bad judgments based on blind faith.
