I don't know about bars, but when I first started buying from Tulving, I called PCGS and spoke with them about Tulving's reputation. They told me very positive things. And I continued to order from him.

If you were really concerned, you could buy an acid test. If I recall, it uses nitric acid. You can probably order one for 10 bucks.

You would probably get it faster from tulving, and if you buy enough $50K he will actually meet you at his bank and you can take delivery there.

I am not advocating that, or anything else really. Its only an alternative.
