"With your DXD short, do you trade in and out of it?"

I put on a 5% stop and watch the market. If some event occurs that I think will lift the market, I sell out. Otherwise, I just let it ride. Once it's gained more than 5%, as it has multiple times for me, It's guaranteed to be in the black. I think the trend will be down for quite a while now.

Some other guys with similar strategies prefer SDS.

I also don't know about gold. It may not have any relevance to investors born after the death of the gold standard, which would be most investors nowdays. If some major currency fails, it may regain it's cache!

Be glad you're not a German.

"In Germany, the first 90 percent of deposits up to 20,000 euros, or about $27,000, was guaranteed."
