Capitulation ...

Hello Allen,

Just thought I'd advise that I have FINALLY capitulated.

I'm now a proud 1st time equity owner of AAPL in my digital convergence basket and I bought at close to today's low when the Naz was just about to duck below 1800 the 1st time. I nibbled as opposed to taking a big gulp but I have a chunk of cash and will likely add more in nibbles. I certainly will if we set another new 52 week low.

The best part, as I noted elsewhere, is that I can now stop kicking myself for not taking an AAPL position back when iPOD started to hit stride and create a halo for Mac in late '03 and early '04, or at or near intervening 52 week lows since.

AAPL is now at the very top of my close watch list and while it may sound unpatriotic I'd like to see it go lower before it goes higher. I do think we are truly finally beginning the necessary capitulation phase of a major bear market ... and I sure do hope I'm not wrong.

Best,

- Eric -
