I find no problem with a blessing that keep one free from witchcraft. We have people who fervently believe themselves witches, we have wiccans who believe in white magic yet some practice dark or black magic.

Protection from that is a reasonable request. Plus, a priest from Kenya still has a culture where black magic is a heavy part of their experience and it is negative.

You never know waht a person praying for you will say, you simply accept a prayer and move on.

Although, you are probably against prayer
