I'm sure those guys in Idaho could increase production without harming quality.

I haven't yet found anyplace that sells them. Must not be enough of them to reach Virginia. They're going to have to really ramp up to feed a population of 300 million.

jrhana,

BTW Idaho raised farm bred trout is chock full of omega 3s

That's what I hear - that farm raised trouts are very good alternatives to wild.

I make them on butter with almonds, with string beans as a side. Delicious...

jrhana,

Otherwise we just become a selfish self-centered little cult trying to achieve mortality and the hell with the rest of the world.

You mean immortality, correct?

Well, if it is achievable (and you are part of the cult - or club), you better hope it is small, since, the way much of the world is set up, increased longevity leads to national bankruptcy. It is kind of perverse, if you think about that. In the past, increased longevity lead to increased prosperity. In the socialistic systems we have, increased longevity leads to bankruptcy from budgetary point of view.

As far as worrying about resources and "conservation", it is bunch of complete BS. Energy is unlimited - only limited by our ability to tap it cost effectively. Unlimited energy leads to unlimited food production.
