I think I would like the Irish countryside. I didn't grow up with a/c, video games or TV. We also had a party line for many years. If we were at a friends house that had TV and we were invited to stay for dinner, we would watch it but it wasn't an every day thing.

We were without power for 12 days following the storm. We still have no TV because the dish was damaged in the storm and it looks like it's going to be another couple of weeks before they get it working again.

We've been traveling to the front nine to see what progress has made on the house each day and when we do, we stop off at various houses on the course to say hello.

I know there's a big difference between here and over there but I really think I would like it over there.

it sounded like the people had pretty much given up and heavily relied on govt for everything. I was very surprised to learn that proceeds from gambling is the main source of revenue in Scotland.

William Wallace is spinning in his grave.
