Obama's appeal is very deep in two groups - white liberals and blacks.

Anecdotal info:

I have "first hand" info from family members who have voted democrat forever!!!!

and they ain't voting for Obama!!! My guess, lots more like them
in the state...

Also, living in Mizzou, they're ain't enough "white liberals and blacks" to give the state to Obama!!!

Meantime, Palin has turned on the Republican base. Which is why she's targeted for attack

I reported on a lack of McCain yard signs in my general area a while back, well Palin has certainly changed that. Signs are popping up like mushrooms with her name on them. There were a couple that were probably home made that just said "Vote 4 Sara(sp)". There a few signs with just McCain on them, but the vast majority are McCain/Palin which means they have to be fairly fresh....Anybody trying to argue that she was a poor choice still mystify me.

I understand that yard signs are not necessarily a great indicator, but going from next to none to a bunch is certainly a better trend.
