I picked this up on NPR today - Palin's accent is FAKE! Alaskans say NOBODY in Alaska talks like that.

They talk like that in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Could have something to do with the bratwurst. It's grating on the ear, but the bratwurst is GREAT.

Wouldn't surprise me. Republicans are good at theater.

Palin's from AK and she talks like that.

Of course, she's originally from Idaho. Like a lot of people in AK are from somewhere else.

Here's a shock for liberals - all Canadians don't have Canuck accents either. Ditto for all West Virginians. All Southerners. All Bostonians.

But go back to ranting about Palins voice. Hey, maybe there's a speaker implanted on her and someone else does all the talking for her. Just like Bush and the backpack liberals imagined he wears all the time.
