From a politically pragmatic view, this is stupid. It guarantees a loss. If one turns into a riot, say attacking the press that is present there, then that will cement it. With Palin playing up that she was victimized by an ambushing FCM, there is a very good chance that could happen. Remember how people were telling the McCain campaign to stop restraining Palin. Well she took it to heart. They can't control her now and her 'success' last Thursday confirmed to her she's on the right track. That's when I realized how stupid she really is. Her pick as VP would never have happened if it weren't for a man like McCain who, when desperate, takes huge gambles. It was an incredible opp for her to get national attention and celebrity. She could go back to Alaska, take some grad courses, bone up on the stuff she is missing and come back as a respectable national figure. Her gaffes with Gibson and Couric would be either forgiven or forgotten. But nooooooooo, she ain't going out quietly.......she's another weak tit like most Republicans. She and first dude are going to turn this presidential campaign around like they did in Alaska. She has no idea how high in the sky she is flying and how many people distain her. And she has no idea the dynamite she is playing with getting people stirred up. Only now is McCain is starting to worry what monster he's unleashed on an unsuspecting public. This last month ain't going to be pretty. Hopefully, it will end with her putting her tail between her legs and marching back to Alaska to face a recall vote. That's what she and the Republicans deserve.
