" just last year obama and ayers co-chaired a group while traveling around giving speeches together"

I don't believe I have ever seen any such thing.

Believe they both sat on the board of a charitable non-profit though a couple of years back, were both Professors at U. Chicago... and that Ayers once contributed some $200 to an Obama campaign for State election... (while Obama was all of eight years old when Ayers was Weatherman....)

I sit on a board right now dealing with troubled youth. There are ex-felons on that board, and one murderer. I didn't pick the board, but I believe in the cause. Am I a bad person? Did Obama put Ayers on that board? Was the cause a decent one?

There is nothing there....The economy is the issue. Other than a few folks already commited to everything anti-Obama, peoples votes are not going to change over any association with Ayers or any communist in Africa.

If McCain has any chance to win it will never be because of stuff like Ayers. It has to be on the issues and he has to get a half-decent economic plan together and sell it. He has to name some future cabinet members and he has to sound like he knows what he is talking about.

And he should have dropped time-bomb Palin, who now owes back taxes on her per diem and will get an October surprise in a few days on Troopergate...

I am almost laughing at the "issues" McCain/Palin think are going to change voters' minds. It's the economy...period.

If McCain feels Obama is a non-citizen traitor, then McCain should lay it out during the debate tonight.
