Hi Richard,

This is a major bottom coming in-this week I assume.

This is scary stuff.

One has to have compassion for those invested in high flyers as they swoon.

Semi's are far from that.

Cramer just went through an analysis of tech stocks in 2000 that fell 80% after having gone up 5-8 times there lows before the NAZ run up.

Tech may not be the best growth story compared to the run ups of resources and oil - they are next blood in the streets.

I suspect tech will get respect with 10-13 % growth as we waddle through a global recession.

I must admit these central bank floods of money are beyond my experience level.

Can just a small percent of subprime realestate loans queer an entire global economy?

I doubt it.

Yes it will decimate those that played in the deception (except perhaps the politicians that passed legislation allowing it.

After this level of pain there should be an outrage and I 've yet to see it.

Me I'm holding on to my debt free SCE's with large cash positions.

I suspect tech will advance to new leading edge equipment and that at least is less than a crash.

I'm not real sure where the supply channel is in all this.Intel should be the best indicator.

I suspect advance d technology will still be embraced as productivity and efficiemcies will continue to be the story.

What blos my mind id the number of companies selling at cash per share.

These are definitely scary times of great value.

As I've said for a long time:"There is a time where you just have to know what you know and hold with confidence".

Marveling at how the market is being tossed by unrelated events.

Reminds me so much of 1998 - Asian contagion - I never understood how the Thailand
BOT" did all that.
