I have dealt with a lot of politicians. I have worked for some. I have seen them ally with the devil if it would get them elected. I think Obama has made some bad choices (but not necessarily the ones you cite.) McCain has also associated with some ministers and foreign heads of state (and old S and L bosses, etec.) who he might have wished not to.

You want to connect the dots in a way I can't see. These are politicians. Obama is more liberal than McCain. They both have sold their political souls.

But wishes aren't the exact same thing as real horses....
