I don't understand just recieved flyer from BOA offering line of credit for 50k. Got my credit card bill and enclosed a check to use for anything I want up to 30K. What is going on. Who are they not lending to.

Thanks...

Long Term:

Banks will not lend to consumers and businesses
The U.S. economy faces a deep recession
Earnings will be pressured

I think the above is why they will not stabilize, unfortunately...

OIOW...I think Credit Markets need to be loaning out Billions against solid collateral to stabilize.

regards

Just got word this morning that housing loan credit scores have increased (680) and points are being asked for, that heretofore were not.

So they bailed out wall street, but not main street, it seems to me? I thought they would put something in that package which would make it easier to sop up excess property and provide some relief for honest people just plain being hurt by this deflationary depression we seem to be facing!

Instead the credit markets continue to tighten.
