It absolutely does, the short occurred on 9/2 at 1285.10, that's 250 points ago... even though the spiral is still short, I covered yesterday at 1040.00 and took a long at 1054.00, only to reinstate the short side at 1045.00 just a little while ago... I'm expecting a buy signal no later than October 23rd, provided the SP's are trading above 1137.30 at that time... this is 100 points above the market, so it may not happen, we'll see if we get a rally before that date... if not, I'll just stay short until I get a legitimate buy signal... Interestingly enough, today's low just hit the floor of the spiral, so if we close firm, we could see a rally of sorts over the next few days... GZ
