ACORN raided in Vegas for voter fraud. LAS VEGAS (AP) - Nevada state authorities are raiding the Las Vegas headquarters of an organization that works to get low-income people to vote. A Nevada secretary of state's office spokesman said Tuesday that investigators are looking for evidence of voter fraud at the office of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN. No one was at the ACORN office when state agents arrived with a search warrant and began carting records and documents away. Secretary of State spokesman Bob Walsh says ACORN is accused of submitting multiple voter registrations with false and duplicate names. The raid comes two months after state and federal authorities formed a task force to pursue election-fraud allegations in Nevada. Copyright 2008 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. From the info we have here, it sounds that, if anything Bernanke is being conservative as to the problems we face with this worldwide Mortgage Mess... Did you hear any of the C-SPAN AIG hearings this AM....two Republican members (forgot their names, but one from FL and one from OH) made a good deal of sense when they said it was one thing to find out what went wrong from the company side of things, but we also needed to find out what happened from the Congressional side of things.....The Congressman from FL really said what needed to be said, and asked for immediate hearings -- said he knew why they wouldn't happen within the month.....
