Why does it bother me, dipsh*t? Because you are working your ass hoping some sh*t will stick to the wall and prevent what is very likely to happen.....Obama getting elected president

Of course I hope Obama will lose. He is a threat to our democracy in my view.

But unlike you and the Obama campaign, I am not hoping that something bad happens to the country to prevent his election (in the words of Candy Crowley, describing the mortgage crisis, "It is exactly what the Obama campaign wanted").

I'm willing to stand by and let the process play out. But this man is dangerous and I think there is good shot that 3 years from now some of you dunderheads will realize it. Although I doubt you'd ever admit you were wrong.

As to Bush, while he is unpopular, it is pretty clear that he has accomplished what he said he would -- preventing further attacks, destroying AQ, and installing a democracy in Iraq which will be helpful to us going forward.

One of the biggest mistakes liberals make is to forget the lessons of the Truman presidency. The success (or failure) of a president is not known, cannot be known, for years. Even some historians forget this fact. While I believe Bush's domestic policy has sucked, presidents are ultimately remembered for their foreign policy, and Bush will be remembered very positively in history for his.
