I suspect the depression was worse because of the dust bowl era. I remember asking my grandfather how the depression was in our little town in WI. He said well folks lost a few bucks in the bank failures but for the most part nobody had any money to begin with so it was no big deal. They all hunted trapped and gardened and bartered and carried on. I can't fathom anything happening that bad but he if it does I have guns, ammo, fishing equipment, traps and the skills. Bring it on:)
