Sure there is.

Both had problems during their presidency with popularity. Like Truman, Bush is likely to be thought of favorably.

The big difference is that it shouldn't take more than a few years for people to start to understand how important the Iraq war is and consequently, for people to begin to understand why it had to be done.

It took longer for Truman to get his due.
