Bloomberg: Natural Gas in New York Declines on Concern Over Economies

Gas in storage probably rose 85 billion cubic feet last week, according to the median of nine analyst estimates compiled by Bloomberg.

Reuters: Most U.S. spot natural gas
prices fell Wednesday for the fourth straight trading day, with
gas at benchmark Henry Hub in Louisiana pressured to its lowest
level in nearly a year amid weaker gas futures and mild autumn
weather that has slowed demand.

Injection estimates for this week's EIA report, which will
take into account about 30 bcf of offshore storm-related cuts,
ranged from 78 bcf to 95 bcf, with most traders and analysts
expecting stocks to rise by about 86 bcf when weekly data are
released Thursday at about 10:35 a.m. EDT, a Reuters survey
showed.
Stocks rose an adjusted 68 bcf for the same week in 2007,
while the five-year average build for that week is 69 bcf.

GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR October 8, 2008 Gulf Production is up to 7.9 Bcf/d. Ind Hub dropped to around 600 MMcf/d yesterday but is back up above 900 MMcf/d in evening noms this morning. Some flows on Nautilus returned today based on a few meters that were cleared for nominations. Garden Banks remains at zero but notices from the company again indicated that the pipeline is ready for service once repairs are made to facilities on the Tenn and Transco system. A list of notices is included on pg 10 and a representation of the damaged systems is included on pg 11, map on Pg 12. Total supply loss since 8/29 now stands at 240 Bcf.
