Is it your opinion that the 1995 Securities Act was more damaging than the repeal of Glass-Steagall by the Gramm-Leach Bill in 1999?

NOT THE POD PEOPLE! You have crossed the frickin' line, Max! I will counter-beg that Vi never ban you! LOL.
Agreed on the rooms where dems and reps throw crap. I do not go there.
If some good will come of the election, it will be from Obama. Time to move away from Reagan ideologues and neo-cons. Fresh air and the chance (however slim) of something good happening.
Can't wait to see the Carlin piece when I get home.
Last several days have been painful contemplation of economic instability AND the possibility of world wide political instability. That article on extinction of 1/4 mammals might be understating the situation. Good to see some sense of humor here from all the regulars.

Hilarious Carlin piece, Max. I cannot argue--especially with his take on the public. Carlin did enjoy watching the Keith Olbermann show and appeared as a guest once. Evidently, he was not totally apolitical.
If I am living in one big Vonnegut novel, I might as well try to kick around in the plot a bit and vote. <g>
