I'm unclear on how you'll manage not to give up another 10-20% if the market continues down. I realize if you're 50% cash, you'll only give up half as much as the market on average.

Are you contemplating more selling ?

>>>My fear now is that the market indexes may have another 10-20% downside<<<

My "fear" (and I certainly don't mean this unkindly) is that the markets will rally big before I gain significant exposure. As long as we're falling, I can deploy resources on a scale and feel comfortable.

If we rally, I'm pretty much lost, as I have no idea whether the rally will hold or not.

With the losses I took today, I'm down on the year by about 1%.

Perhaps I'm the canary, and people like me will step up.

If true, Condor, you have no worries !
